Though injustice thrives
The poor crushed by people with opportunities
the weak denied their strength
It wont last forever
tts just for a while
The day of reckoning comes
when the mute will learn to speak
The silent will regain their voice
They will break out of their comfort zones
Out of their cocoons
Out of their hiding places
Out of their timid faces
Demanding what belongs to them
Their God-ordained right of freedom
more like their birth right
They dust themselves
They wash their faces
take a bath
change their robes
wear nicely scented fragrance
They head in the path of redemption
Where they can exercise their capabilities
and explore possibilities
Till they are strong enough to sing the victory song

'Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus' It is a a blessing to receive the precious gift of salvation and to claim the true riches in Jesus Christ. All we have to do is simply say 'Jesus, I invite you into my life. Be my Lord and Saviour'
Thanks for all the comments...

@TheCornerShop thanks :)
An absolute joy to read this captivating and soul stirring poem, the type of writing many can relate to and draw strength and inspiration from. Keep up the great work and don't lose touch from your artistic side for too long as people would be deprived from great poems such as these if you do so.
